Product Description

These pliers are THE most necessary part of the basic arsenal of every jewelry maker. Use them to hold small objects, bend wire, pick up beads. How can you live without them?! Measurements: Pliers are 4.5 inches long, tips are 1mm at the narrowest point. Sturdy box joint construction. Leaf spring. NOTE: These pliers are intended for beading and other fine hobby work. Not recommended for heavy duty applications such as automotive, home improvement, or maritime use.

About Us

The Beadaholique story started with a shoebox tucked under a bed in Sarah Diamond’s Santa Monica apartment. It was 1999. Over the course of a year that tiny shoebox became a file cabinet.

The file cabinet became the spare room, and soon the entire apartment. We hired more friends and then bought a house which ultimately couldn’t accommodate our growth after only a few more fast paced years.

    I love these cheap pliers. I make jewelry and have gone through many pliers of various prices throughout the years. I really like these because they are small, lightweight and have a narrow tip and smooth handles. They are comfortable to work with and affordable enough to buy a few pairs and not be stressed should they break or if the metal scratches. The spring is decent though I can tell they will eventually break. I have been using these for 9 months almost daily and have been happy with how they hold up. I would recommend these for professionals and hobbyist.

    Review of the Beadsmith Jeweller's Micro Pliers Chain Nose: These craft pliers are small, light-weight but sturdy and strong. I had been using tweezers for picking up beads before, which are clearly not the right tool for the job, I needed something that as precise as tweezers, but had the gripping power that I needed. This works great. (not it really is not as "precise as tweezers" in the medical sense, please don't get me wrong)

    While these chain nose pliers are a low priced, they seem of reasonable quality for the money. They are not of super high quality, though. I usually pay more for these at Gem and Jewelry show. I just haven't been in a while and I needed a new pair as my other has worn out. I can't tell you how long these will last as I haven't used them very long. I'll update the review if this changes. For now, they seem nicely built and have worked well for my needs so far. One thing I will say is that the double-leaf spring is usually weakest part of these types of pliers and will likely be the first thing to wear out. The reason I've removed one star, they're not quite as pointy or as evenly rounded as I was hoping. My last pair were a bit more pointed and rounded than this pair. It will work for my needs. Such is what you get for less than $7.
