    I used this Golden medium to adhere stamped card stock cutouts to previously painted paper. It worked well. I coated both the base and the back side of the stamped cutout. After it dried, I covered the cutout with more medium. This medium dries very quickly to a clear and very matte, soft-looking finish.

    I bought both this and the Liquitex matte medium. So far I think I like the Liquitex better for my purposes, since I don't need to dilute it. This product is very thick. However, both are high quality products.

    I was new to this gel medium and I am smitten with it, it's wonderful. You can use it to glue most things even metal to the page or canvas, Spread a layer and use an injet image over the top face down and when it's dry the ink is transfered to the medium you can use a transparency and just lift it of or with a paper copy you wet the paper and rub it off down to the medium. Then you can use it to add texture to your paints, its just wonderful stuff.
