The Krylon Clear Matte Finishing Paint provides a permanent, non-gloss finish which protects art, crafts and valuables. This clear spray paint will not yellow over time and provides a permanent, protective matte finish. It eliminates glossy sheen and is moisture resistant. Use the clear finishing spray on wood, metal, plastic, paper, glass, plaster, ceramic, and wicker. The finish paint is ideal for sealing painting projects and acrylic backgrounds for decorative painters. Best results when temperatures are 55° F to 75°F and humidity is below 60%. This aerosol spray is dry to the touch and dry to handle in 15 minutes. Krylon spray paint has been trusted by consumers since 1947.     I used this on my texture art and it gave a very professional looking matte finish. It was very easy to use. The spray dried evenly which I was a bit concerned about because I felt I sprayed more heavenly on some areas but it didn't matter. I did knock off one star because the smell was so strong. I moved the artwork back into my house over night, hours after it was initially sprayed and the chemical smell was so strong it filled my entire home.
