    I ordered both a fine point and medium point of these to do a dandelion painting on canvas. I am not an artist so I knew there was no way I was going to be able to use a brush to make the fine lines. This pen worked perfectly! It didn't run, drip, clump, clog or any other negative thing. I LOVE my finished product. I would definitely recommend these or buy them again.

      I didn't know Sharpie made a white marker, and when a friend told me about it, I had to have one.

      My white marker arrived yesterday, in 2 days from when I ordered it, and I am in love. It writes beautifully. It's really hard to find a white marker. So far I have used it to write over acrylic paint in my art journal, and it did a fantastic job. The underlying color did not bleed through and it stayed white. I expect to use it in my rubber stamping, also.

      As mentioned previously, shipping was fast.

      My only regret is that I didn't order a couple. Fortunately I now know where to get them.

      i ordered this marker to correct or clean up small imperfections on a tangle. the point was fine enough to direct my strokes carefully. shake the pen and test on a scrap and you should be good to go. buying on line was in this case, practical and cost effective. unless i had the time and gas money to waste running fr one store to another, ordering fr amazon just made more sense. most important, is that the marker does what was promised. it covered and could be used to make fine lines or markings.

      We just have to accept this hard truth: There is no such thing as a "perfect" paint pen. They can clogged up, they can leak, sometimes they don't last long and sometimes they seem to last forever. That being said :) here's a 2-cent opinion from someone who has tried them all.

      --Sharpie brand pens are my top choice.
      --Sharpie water-based pens seem to have fewer problems than Sharpie oil-based pens.
      --Sharpie Poster-Paint pens are ALL water-based (despite some of the product descriptions on Amazon that say they're oil-based. You can double check this by taking a close look at the image: IF it is the correct image it will clearly say water-based).
      --Sharpie Poster-Paint pens are my top choice. It's too bad the color choices are so much more limited, but if you're looking for a basic white, these pens are excellent.

      On a side note: Who knew purchasing paint pens could be so challenging? It's nearly impossible to get all the listings in one search due to Amazon's search engine. No matter how general or specific you search, different choices will show up and disappear. I suggest simply searching for paint pens, then filtering brand to BOTH Sharpie and Sanford for the best results.

      The pen arrived with no cap, no nib and no clear shrink wrap around it. It is smashed-looks like it was dropped on the floor then run over by forklift. The damage did not occur after packing as there was no cap or nib floating around in the shipping box and there was no damage to the shipping box itself. No fault to Sharpie. I am sure the pen would have worked wonderful had it not been shipped to me from Amazon already damaged. Totally worthless.
