These are my new favorite pen to write with
These are my new favorite pen to write with! The nib is firm but it doesn't catch on the paper when you write, the movement is really smooth. The ink flows well but doesn't saturate the paper, so unless your paper is thin there should be minimal ghosting.

I love these pens! Something about them makes me write better but, unlike other sharpie products, they don't bleed through. The different colors are perfect for grading papers and taking my own notes in all-purpose notebook of to-do lists/etc. and making them stand out because they're neatly written and in bright colors.

I can see why some people are complaining about the three lighter colors of the bunch, but I don't have a problem with their being light and, as one person pointed out, it could be nice for situations in which you don't want what you write to stand out too much. (In the margins of a book, or, in my case, grading a students paper.) I don't want to look like I bled red all over their paper, you know? Coral or turquoise is light compared to their own printed text, yet it's still perfectly legible.

I wish they could be a bit cheaper but the price isn't TOO bad if you're buying a multi-pen set like this.

I'm one of those people.. I just cannot help myself. I like my pens to have a fine point, not bleed all over the place, and not bleed through the paper. Finally, Sharpie has made me happy. I like the really fine point mechanical pencils as well. If these are the things you like then you should love these pens. They have felt tips, so you do not need to "bare down hard" to get the ink to come out or maintain a fine line. I discovered these when they came out while working at an office supply store, since then if I have a choice these are the only pens I will use. I keep them in my purse, backpack, and desk. This pack is an assorted pack with "fun" colors. They also have just blue, black, red, or a combo of blue and black. I say they do not bleed like other pens, because most other pens are ball-point and these have felt tips. Please note if you leave any ink pen on a piece of paper long enough it will bleed, but these do not just drizzle ink everywhere you go as with ballpoints or gels. The price on these fluctuates, so I try to get them when they are on sale. Usually they have a buy one get one free or 50% off at some point during the year. They do cost a little more than regular pens, but as I said in my title, "I'm picky about my pens," and I find the additional cost worth it. I typically have to replace a pen about once every 2-3 months, but I'm a college student and I do a lot of writing.

I really like these. I use them in the office and get lots of compliments on them. I love the fine point and attractive colors and the fact that they are PENS and not permanent markers. My only complaint is that the ink in the green pen is so light, it's hard to see, but otherwise the set is great!

They don't bleed. Let me say this again. They. Don't. Bleed. For someone who needs to color coordinate a planner to a desk calendar, that is essential. I use this on my desk calendar and in my Freedom Planner. They don't bleed through, and in combination with the normal color pack, give me a wide variety of colors to use to coordinate with. As someone who has both weekly, monthly, and sporadic repeating meetings or other events to attend, this is essential. I can glance at my calendar while on the phone or talking to someone and without having to actually read what it is, know if it's sports, gov., politics, or personal related. This is especially handy for my editor, who usually can't be bothered with actually reading where I am, but knows which colors go with what event. Sports are red for the team colors, blue for county meetings, and purple for city. He likes that he can figure out where I am without actually having to read it. I like that my calendar looks beautiful, and doesn't affect the next page.

I am a stationery collector and a big fan of Sharpies. This is a fun set of pens for everyday writing. I like all the colors, although like other reviews have stated, the purple, hot pink and orange are the strongest colors; the coral, clover and turquoise are lighter, but I don't think they are so light as to be invisible / useless on plain white paper. The tip is a bit finer than the ultra-fine Sharpie markers, but compared to a regular ink pen I would say it is an average to thick tip. If you're in to the micro-tip pens, these will seem fat to you. The ink is smooth, lasts a long time, doesn't smudge and doesn't bleed though the paper.

I ordered these to give my children a choice of colors to use for writing. They love them, and so do I. They have a lovely fine point and write great. I like these pens for writing checks. If you write a check in turquoise fine point Sharpie, there is little to no chance that anyone can alter it.

I bought these along with the Pilot Varsity Disposable Fountain Pens - http://smile.amazon.com/Varsity-Disposable-Fountain-Assortment-Pencil/dp/B008DVI2OO/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1401667537&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=Pilot+Varsity+Disposable+Fountain+Pens+9 - and we love both sets of pens.

I highly recommend these pens to anyone who wants a clear, sharp fine-point pen and who also likes a variety of colors.

When i saw these in the stores, i figured "nah, same product, different labels" but when i saw the new colors, i figured i had to take the leap. And i am so glad i did! These are the perfect pen and they don't bleed through the paper. Sharpie has got a big hit in these pens, do not be afraid to buy! They are great! The only thing i didn't like was the packaging. I wish it would have come in a little pouch like some higher-up types of pens, but oh well, it's not enough to deduct a star. Wonderful product! Well worth the money!

These pens have a soft touch coating on the outside so it feels really nice when you're writing with them. However, three of the six pens have such light-colored ink that its not practical. The other three are great! Bold colors in interesting hues. It could be so much better if the other three are dark enough to be seen against white paper.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exelentes plumas
Reviewed in Mexico on February 22, 2018

I'd been looking for these pens in the UK for months when I finally found them on amazon. I user a Lechhturm journal for work and found that these are perfect. They produce a fine line with vivid colour that doesn't bleed through paper. I've tried these pens on different types of paper and the result is the same. They write very smooth and make my handwriting look lovely!

5.0 out of 5 stars The ink dries quick and the flow of ink is smooth
Reviewed in Canada on August 16, 2014
I love how smooth they write, and how good they feel. The flow of ink is continuous and they don't clog. They dry very quick (crucial since I'm left-handed) and I think I'm going to order more of these wonderful pens when I run out of them. My new favourite. The only thing is they are not recommendable for cheap notebooks with sheer paper as they can transfer a little bit to the other side, but that's the cheap notebook's fault.

The colours are so pretty too. I'll use them for writing titles in my class notes.

Reviewed in Mexico on August 11, 2017
